Few soldiers reach Kyro’s age of seventy six anywhere the Commonwealth, and fewer still survive such a long career on the frontier. Kyro values Dreadhill as an important trade stop through his fiefdom, relying on its income (both legal and illegal) to keep his soldiers equipped and supplied.

Many soldiers believe Kyro earned the right to serve as Dreadhelms Archon General long ago, but experience on the battlefield isn’t all that’s necessary to lead in such tumultuous lands. Wealth and political ties help lend incentives and rewards for bravery. Serving Archon General Rendor Lorant has much more to offer the ruling Magistrate in that regard. Kyro himself is but the son of a sheppard.
